Travel Insurance

There are some important things you need to know about Travel or Holiday Insurance

  1. You should arrange this as soon as you have any travel arrangements booked and you might consider an annual policy if you travel more than once a year.

  2. If you are travelling to any EU country you should obtain an E111 form from the Post Office. This gives you access to local national health treatment in member countries. However it does not provide for private treatment and you will still need insurance to cover luggage, cancellations and other items including personal liability.

  3. We have made arrangements with the Online Travel Group to offer our customers their Online Travel Cover policy. They offer very competitive rates for a range of policies including annual cover, family policies, winter sports and long stay cover as well as the more traditional policies covering single holidays.

  4. To find out more about this policy please visit www.onlinetravelcover.com

  5. You might also check with your credit card company, as many of these provide some cover if you purchase your travel arrangements using your card. It is a condition of booking that you have suitable travel insurance in place.
